Fees for Doug's illustration are determined by the hours spent in studio working on your project. Doug's rate is $75 per hour with a one hour minimum. While a simple caricature with minimal background can be done in as little as an hour, multiple characters and complex backgrounds can require considerably more time. Upon receipt of your bid form, Doug will give you an estimate range, from which you can pick a target fee. Payment is done by credit card through Paypal (you need not be a member) in two installments, 50% of the total estimate to begin work, and the remainder upon your approval of the final art, but before final delivery. All artwork is created digitally and can be printed in brilliant color at the size and in the quantity you specify. Final art is uploaded to Doug's account at http://www.smugmug.com/ where you can view and approve the art, download the file, and order prints as well. The art is 100% yours and you are free to use it in any manner you choose.
