Up Close and Personal

Unlike many caricature and “quick sketch” artists, Doug’s chief concern is that his subject is happy with the process as well as the results. He doesn’t insist his subjects pose by holding still; he wants them to relax and have fun. When we’re relaxed, we look our best, and Doug delivers the best in us. “Funny, yet flattering,” is Doug’s motto, and maybe that’s why they line up.
