DOUG SHANNON caricature artist

This is the artist’s third year at an annual event this mammoth health club throws for its members. It was mostly 50+ couples, my favorite demographic for traditional media caricatures, and so I had a blast, with a long line of kibbitzing, wine-sipping hecklers. I brought along Laura Gilmore as well, to round out the caricature entertainment with her deadly accurate, somewhat more serious approach. We both drew our butts off and closed the place down.
