Company Picnic / Napa

Hudsen Health Care is a regular caricature client so they know what to expect. These faces get better looking every year.

Corporate Incentive / San Francisco

A few hundred insurance agents and their spouses were at the SF Marriott at a 60’s themed party. I was decked out pretty hip but forgot to take a picture. Here is a couple I did at the end of the evening when I was drawing at a four minute per couple pace.

Private Party / Berkeley

The Native American Aids Project took over the White Horse Inn with some wild performers momma never told me about. Sorry, no pix of them, just these relatively sedate revelers.

Private Commission

This is self explanatory. Daniel is the sort of agent I’d enjoy buying or selling a house with.

Poster / San Jose

No caricature here. A trades show client commissioned this for a poster to be given away at the show.

Wedding Icon

This cute couple wanted a kind of stamp that could serve in a variety of ways at their wedding and reception.

Corporate Event / San Francisco

Blue Cross took over Bistro Boudin on Fisherman’s Wharf for a few hours so I organized a crew of caricaturists for them. Zach Trenholm, Marc Schmid, Big Al and myself cranked out a couple hundred caricatures for a happy crowd. Here are two of my favorite caricatures.

Wedding Reception / Santa Rosa

I first drew this couple four years ago at their high school prom. This makes feel old for some reason, though not nearly as old as I’m going to feel drawing their kids at their high school prom.

The guests at this wedding reception were surprised to see a caricature artist, but by the end of the evening they were totally sold. Caricature is a great wedding reception entertainment. It’s personal and interactive, and gives people something scary to do while they are feeling brave with champagne!

Wedding Reception / Woodside

This lovely couple was married at Fogarty Winery on Skyline Drive, a venue that boasts the best view of the South Bay you can get with your feet still on the ground. This is the first wedding caricature I’ve done with three subjects, but Angel, their chihuahua couldn’t be left out.

Winery / Santa Rosa

Matanzas Creek Winery has a lilac festival every year where lucky wine lovers feast on great food, wine and the sight of an endless field of lilac. I worked with Marc Schmid on this job, who is the only caricaturist I know who talks more than me. Next time I’ll bring earplugs! :-)
