Corporate Trade Mixer / San Francisco

How’s this for a setup? I’m at one of 30 tables in a room at the Nikko Hotel with Mikey of FabulousSavings.com, a world class marketer out of Toronto. Every 5 minutes we get a new client. Mikey’s message was driving sales, so we printed out licences for his customers. He’ll followup by e-mailing jpegs of their caricatures to everyone later, which they can use on their cell phones or networking sites. Live digital caricature created quite a talking point with the crowd, it was great fun.080131b.jpg

Corporate Party / San Jose

151.jpg Adventel had a great year and they partied accordingly—six straight hours of nonstop caricature for me. A great gig with great people. Forgot my camera so must settle for this cell phone shot.

Gift Caricature / Bay Area

This is a birthday present for a bocce enthusiast. The guests at the party signed the matte around the caricature. end result: a singularly unique and personal memento!e3.jpg

Corporate Event / San Francisco

Walker Zanger is an international designer and producer of incredible kitchen and bath decor, and they were participating in an open house at the Galleria, south of market. Lots of stylish art lovers here, excellent caricature subjects all!

Corporate Incentive / San Francisco

This was a HUGE party at the Marriott for a drug company’s reps from all over the country. I was one of four caricature artists on hand. Here are a few highlights.

Company Party / Napa

Melissa Teaff Catering is famous around the North Bay as the best of the best, so it’s always an honor to get a call from her. In this case it was for a party for her own crew. We had a blast. I think everyone went home with a caricature.

Mitzvah / Burlingame

Four hours of nonstop caricature with a particularly smart bunch of (mostly) kids.

Corporate Party / Emeryville

Leapfrog makes educational tech toys for schools and retail, and this party was a celebration for their sales force, which judging by the atmosphere at the Woodfin Hotel, had a banner year in 2007. Seriously, this was just about the most enthusiastic and fun-loving group I’ve ever worked with. Example: they brought in a high school marching band to punctuate the awards ceremony. I spent half the gig strolling around the tables caricature-izing people unawares. Here’s one fellow who didn’t even know I was drawing him.
